Prior to launching his consulting career, Adam Drybrough competed nationally in Canada as a figure skater. Skating with partner Colleen Drybrough, he finished in the top 20 on three occasions at the Canadian National Championships from 2003 through 2007. The pair also competed at the 2003 Canada Games for Alberta. Their best result came in 2006 when they finished 10th of 17 duos.
While training as a figure skater, Mr. Drybrough attended Calgary's National Sport School, a Calgary Board of Education-supported high school created to assist student athletes with Olympic potential. In his spare time, he enjoys thrill-seeking activities such as skydiving and wake surfing.
